Good news came from the Changqing Oilfield No. 2 Oil Production Plant in Qingyang City: On June 27, the plant produced 8,730 tons of crude oil, 1.26 million cubic meters of natural gas, and 280 tons of light hydrocarbons per day. The first oil production enterprise in Qingyang with a daily output of over 10,000 tons of oil and gas equivalent.

Changqing Oilfield No. 2 Oil Production Plant was established in 1971. It is the earliest oil production plant established by Changqing Oilfield in Qingyang, and it is also the main force of oil and gas exploration and development in Qingyang. The oil production blocks cover Qingcheng and Huachi in Qingyang City. , Huanxian, Xifeng 4 counties.

In the past 51 years, the second oil production plant has produced a total of 75.87 million tons of crude oil, accounting for one-fifth of the total crude oil produced by the Changqing Oilfield. The annual gas transmission capacity of the Qingyang Gas Field has jumped to 1.1 billion cubic meters. Changqing Oilfield also has a large shale oil field, Qingcheng Oilfield, with proven reserves of over 1 billion tons in the Qingcheng Block of the Second Oil Production Plant.

It is understood that the second oil production plant has a mineral rights area of ??4,650 square kilometers and manages 12 oil and gas fields and 54 development blocks including Maling, Huanjiang and Xifeng. The daily output of oil and gas equivalent exceeded 10,000 tons, indicating that the second oil production plant has an annual production capacity of 3.65 million tons of crude oil.
