Uses:
White or slightly yellow powder, insoluble in water and most organic solvents, but may be soluble in organic acids, alcohols and esters reaction

Used in the synthesis of saturated polyester for powder coatings, coil (steel) coatings, insulating paints, etc.; used in the synthesis of unsaturated polyester; used in PBT
